Each cell site provides in-building coverage up to 3 to 5 miles from the cell site in an urban setting, making it possible for the operator to provide near ubiquitous coverage for the users. To put that in perspective, it would take about a thousand Wi-Fi hotspots to match the technology's coverage area. The network is based on the global wireless standard TD-CDMA and operates in a single channel of 5 or 10MHz of spectrum, making it easier deploy.

Because the network has very low latency and supports voice over IP with full QOS based on SIP, it ideal to use for voice or video applications. The solution also supports a sophisticated resource allocator that allows traffic from critical users to preempt all other traffic on the network based on their assigned tier of service.
