The IP Wireless Desktop Modem gives consumer and business users the speed of broadband Internet
access, the freedom of portability and the ease of 'plug and play', with no externally mounted
antenna required. It provides 'always-on' high-speed Internet access whenever and wherever it's
needed - around the house, outdoors, in the office and on the road.

Key Features
Connection
- Supports peak download speeds of up to 3Mbps, although the speeds offered are ultimately controlled by the tiers of service offered by the service provider
- Connects with any computer equipped with an Ethernet LAN network port, or a Windows computer with USB port
- May also be connected to a PPPoE router to support multiple users
Plug and Play
- Comes standard with USB or Ethernet cable, power pack, modem cradle and installation CD-ROM
- The USB interface provides 'plug and play' operation with Windows 98SE, 2000, ME or XP
- The modem is installed and provisioned through an extremely simple 'plug and play' process with a software wizard and online registration
- Network access may be controlled through a username/password ISP model or SIM/USIM based authentication model
Works Indoors and Outdoors
- Provides a wireless interface between a desktop or laptop PC and the IPWireless TDD network
- As simple to use as a dial-up modem, yet provides mobile 'always on' access
- Fully mobile, with an integral, omni-directional antenna and a rechargeable battery
Power
- Rechargeable, removable Lithium-Ion battery
- An AC power pack provides power to the modem when in a fixed location, while recharging the internal battery
- Trickle charging of the internal battery when connected to a USB port on a PC
Embedded Software
- Embedded software held in flash memory for ease of upgrade. Unit can be reflashed by software downloaded over the network, or from a CD-ROM using the host PC
