A Suite of IMB Products

IPWireless provides mobile network operators and device vendors with a suite of core, device and consumer accessory products to address the growing global market for mobile broadcast services and to help alleviate the growing 3G capaciity crunch. IPWireless’  products are based on the IMB standard, which was defined in Release 8 of the 3G roadmap, and endorsed by the GSMA in September 2009 as the preferrred mobile broadcast standard.  The IMB standard harmonises the elements of existing 3GPP Release 7 W-CDMA and TD-CDMA standards to achieve a unified solution incorporating the best technology from both. The IMB standard is being driven by some of the largest 3G  operators and vendors worldwide.
