Dr. Bill Jones, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Dr. Bill Jones is the CEO and one of the original founders of IPWireless. Jones has 25 years expertise in technology development, operations and sales in the wireless industry. After completing his Ph.D In 1988, he joined AT&T (which became Lucent Technologies) and took senior roles in R&D, Systems Engineering and Product Management on 2G, 3G and Fixed Wireless products, solutions and services. Dr. Jones co-founded IPWireless in 1999 and as EVP of Technology led the development of the first UMTS mobile broadband solution that saw commercial service in 2002. Dr. Jones became COO of IPWireless in 2002 and in 2006 became president and led the company to achieve significant revenue growth culminating in the sale of IPWireless to NextWave Wireless in May 2007. While at NextWave Wireless he became CEO of Nextwave Network Products leading major product units in 3GPP, WiFi and WiMAX solutions and services. Jones was instrumental in the re-financing of the company that led to the MBO of IPWireless from NextWave Wireless in December 2008. Dr. Jones holds a first class honors degree in electrical and electronic engineering and a Ph.D. in radio frequency (RF) engineering from the University of Bradford, England.

Aaron Bennett, Executive Vice President Sales, Americas
A wireless industry veteran of over fifteen years, Aaron is responsible for leading IPWireless’s sales organization for mobile broadband solutions targeted at carriers, public safety organizations, state, local and federal governments and system integrators throughout the Americas. Prior to IPWireless, Aaron held various senior sales leadership roles at Alvarion, a publicly traded company, where he was focused on the company’s WiMAX/4G telecommunication and enterprise wireless solutions. At Alvarion, Aaron was responsible for generating several hundred million dollars in wireless revenues and for building the nascent carrier market for WiMAX throughout North America and Latin America. Bennett received extensive training in electronics and intelligence from the U.S. Navy and served in the Desert Shield and Desert Storm campaign in the Persian Gulf in 1990-1991. He was honorably discharged in 1992.

Malcolm Gordon, Chief Operating Officer
Malcolm Gordon, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, joined IPWireless after 16 years in telecommunications with Lucent Technologies (formerly AT&T), most recently as head of business development for fixed wireless in Europe. Gordon has worked in both the UK and the United States, including two years at Bell Laboratories in Chicago. Since 1992, he has held key development roles for both GSM and WCDMA fixed wireless products. Gordon holds an honors degree in computer science from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland.

Jon Hambidge, Chief Marketing Officer
Jon Hambidge oversees all business development, corporate development, and global marketing. Prior to joining IPWireless in 2001, Hambidge ran various marketing functions for NorthPoint Communications, a national DSL provider in the United States, including brand and acquisition marketing, channel marketing, marketing strategy, and a number of strategic marketing partnerships. Prior to joining NorthPoint, Hambidge spent over seven years at Charles Schwab & Co. in a variety of marketing and product management functions. Hambidge holds an MBA from The Haas School of Business, the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley.

Alan E. Jones, EVP Systems Engineering
Dr. Alan E. Jones is Executive Vice President Systems Engineering for IPWireless. Alan has been with IPWireless since its inception in 1999 and is responsible for systems engineering and standards. Alan began his career at IPWireless as technical director and was responsible for system engineering the IPWireless solution for mobile broadband data. Alan holds several patents in wireless communications and has published numerous technical papers in the field of communications. Prior to joining IPWireless, Alan held lead engineering roles at Motorola and Hewlett Packard Laboratories. Alan holds a Ph.D and a Bachelor of Engineering degree both in electronic engineering from the University of Bradford.

Casey McCormick, General Counsel
Casey McCormick serves as General Counsel for IPWireless and is a member of the Executive Committee. Casey oversees IPWireless’ worldwide legal affairs, including corporate partnering, intellectual property, and regulatory matters. Casey was first introduced to IPWireless as an attorney in the Intellectual Property, Corporate Partnering and Technology Transactions Group at Gunderson, Dettmer, Stough, Villeneuve, Franklin & Hachigian LLP, one of the nation’s leading law firms representing emerging growth companies. At Gunderson, Casey was outside counsel to IPWireless and represented other private and public companies in connection with corporate partnering, strategic alliance, technology acquisition, licensing, joint venture and spin-off transactions.
Casey began her legal career as a litigator at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP. She earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.

Roger Nichol, Chief Development Officer
Roger Nichol is Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at IPWireless and has been with the company since its inception in 1999. Roger is responsible for the hardware development of the company's UMTS TD-CDMA network access devices and Node B base-stations. This includes digital and RF circuit design, ASIC and FPGA development, mechanical design, manufacturing testing, and product introduction to manufacturing. Prior to joining IPWireless, Roger had over 20 years of lead engineering roles at Lucent Technologies, Orbitel Mobile Communications and Cray Communications among others. Roger holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from the University of Natal, Durban South Africa.

Jonathan Oates, Chief Financial Officer
Jon Oates is Chief Financial Officer for IPWireless, where he leads finance, accounting and human resource operations. Jon brings a wealth of international financial management expertise to the company including private equity and venture capital fundraising, mergers & acquisitions, and audit and transaction management. Immediately prior to IPWireless, Jon was Vice President of Finance for Icera Inc, where he was part of the executive management team that lead to Icera’s acquisition by NVIDIA Corporation. Jon was also a senior audit manager for Deloitte (previously Arthur Andersen), where he was responsible for numerous acquisitions and transaction services across a broad range of industries including; energy & utilities, retail, and telecomunications services. Jon holds a BSc, in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Roger Quayle, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder
Roger is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of IPWireless, where he leads technical marketing, and strategy for new markets and technologies such as mobile satellite. Before co-founding IPWireless, he worked with Qualcomm and led that company's successful effort to standardize CDMA 450 technology in Europe. His other positions include Chief Technology Officer at International Wireless Communications, Inc, an owner of cellular operators in Asia; and General Manager of Technology and Business Development at BCL in New Zealand. Earlier in his career, Roger was the founder and CEO of Datacom Equipment Ltd. in New Zealand.

Kevin Worrall, Vice President Global Services
Kevin Worrall is responsible for Global Services; the group supports partners and customers who have deployed IPW networks. Mr. Worrall has worked in the Telecommunications and Broadcast industries for over 30 years and has held engineering, development and project director roles in GEC, British Telecom, BBC, Crown Castle and Microsoft. Mr Worrall earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Glasgow and a Masters of Science degree in Communication Technology and Policy from Strathclyde University.
